Deep emotions welled up in me while I watched events unfolding on the news in Windsor this morning. The police have now cleared the anti-government protest blockade on Windsor's Ambassador Bridge. I know it might sound crazy, but I wish I had been there this week. Maybe because my heart is still there? Windsor was my hometown. Oh boy, now here they come... The gift of tears. And with them, an overwhelming desire to go to Windsor. Maybe it's time for a pilgrimage? Distance from Toronto to Windsor is 229.0 miles. Driving time is 3hrs:33 minutes.
